Expatrio offers blocked accounts on an extra secure escrow account basis. This means your funds are segregated in a dedicated escrow account and are:
- Neither part of Expatrio’s nor our banking partners' own assets and, being solely for the benefit of the Customers, are protected from the claims of Expatrio’s or our banking partners' other creditors.
- Not included as part of the assets of Expatrio as service provider or our banking partners as Payment account institution in the event of its liquidation, bankruptcy or any other situation affecting its creditors’ rights.
Your funds are therefore safe in an Expatrio blocked account.
