Transferring in one transaction
The fastest way for you to receive your 06 Blocked Amount Confirmation is to transfer the Total Blocked Amount in one transfer. As we have automated processes working in the background, you will immediately receive your 06 Blocked Amount Confirmation once the Total Blocked Amount has been credited to your blocked account.
Transferring in several transactions
If for any reason you are not able to transfer the fund within one transaction, you are also able to transfer the amount in multiple installments. Please be aware that we will not be able to issue your 06 Blocked Amount Confirmation before we have received the full amount. This is to ensure that you do not encounter any difficulties while using your Blocked Account to apply for a German Visa.
Someone else sends the funds ("3rd party transfer")
In case your friends or family members will support you and transfer the required amount for you, this is not a problem at all. As long as you make sure that they will send the funds to your name and to the correct IBAN, the money will be credited to your Blocked Account.
Transferring more money than required
You can also transfer a little more money than required by the German authorities. In this case, we will pay out any overpayments to your European current account once you arrive in Germany and activate your Blocked Account.
