If you have a TK public health insurance and want to book an appointment at a local doctor, you may expect long waiting times if you don’t have an appointment.
Please make sure that you contact the doctor in advance and ask if you need an appointment.
Don’t forget your health insurance card. It’s important that you bring it along or your TK Certificate.
With Expatrio and Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) you can benefit from the TK-Appointment Service. You can give them a call, they will find you the right doctor and make a medical appointment for you, free of charge.
In particularly urgent cases, please call the ambulance on 112 or go straight to the hospital.
