You will receive the ottonova insurance physical card in 6-8 weeks after you activated your ottonova Study Secure Premium private health insurance with Expatrio.
The ottonova insurance card is not mandatory for you to visit the doctor. The physical insurance card is only used for convenient data reading into the systems of medical practices or hospitals. Therefore, you can still visit the doctor if you haven't received the insurance card.
It would also be enough if you inform the medical service that you have private health insurance with ottonova. After a treatment you will receive an invoice: You can simply upload it in the document area of your ottonova App and ottonova will assist you further with the reimbursement according to your tariff conditions.
