This articles shows you how to confirm the validity of your Incoming Insurance document.
When you need to verify your incoming insurance document, you will see that the document includes this note: “Important note for employees of embassies and consulates: The scope and validity of this insurance can be checked online at any time at https://bookingengine.dr-walter-secure.de/security”
To verify your document successfully, follow these steps:
1. Check the Security Code
Make sure the Sicherheitscode (security code) at the top of your "Incoming Insurance Certificate for Visa Application" is entered correctly. This is usually a 5-digit code.
2. Use the Most Recent Version
If your insurance certificate was updated or regenerated, ensure you are using the latest version. Using an outdated document may show this message: “Der Sicherheitscode wurde deaktiviert!” – which means the code has expired or been deactivated.
Where to find your certificate:
- Log in to the Expatrio Portal.
- Go to Documents.
- Under Downloads, you can download all necessary documents.
3. Verify the Input Details
When entering information, ensure all fields are correct:
- Vorgangs-Nummer (Reference Number)
- Sicherheitscode (Security Code)
- Geburtsdatum (Date of Birth)
If everything is correct:
The system will show:“Die Bestätigung ist gültig und wurde am XX.XX.XXXX ausgestellt.”
This means your insurance certificate is valid and was issued on the displayed date.
If you entered the information incorrectly:
The system will show:
"500 Server Error". Please confirm all fields are correct and enter again.
If you used the expired security code:
You will see the message “Der Sicherheitscode wurde deaktiviert!”, please use the newest document from your user portal and use the security code on it.
