You can receive DR-WALTER Incoming Insurance as a part of Expatrio's Health Insurance Plus or Value Package and enjoy the special opportunity to receive the insurance coverage for 92 days for free (worth around €33).

Before you semester starts, you are covered by DR-WALTER incoming insurance. It covers you from your commencement of travel to Germany until your semester starts. After your semester start date, you will be covered by TK public health insurance or substitutive private health insurance.

Your DR-WALTER incoming insurance is valid for 365 days, and the first 92 days are free. After you activate your Public Health Insurance, you do not need to do anything. Your Dr-Walter insurance will be canceled automatically. 

If you will need it for more than 92 days, you will start to be charged around €33 monthly.

If you would like to extend it for longer than 365 days, it is unfortunately not possible since it is only meant to cover your travel and first arrival to Germany.
