1. What are the monthly limits of my banking card?
Your Expatrio card has the following default monthly limits:
- ATM Withdrawal Limit: €10,000
- Global Card Limit (Total Transactions set by the subscriber): The default value is €20,000.
- POS (Point of Sale) Limit: The default value is €10,000.
2. Can I change my monthly limit?
Unfortunately we don't have the function available on the mobile app yet.

3. Are the limits cumulative?
No, the limits are not cumulative. Each limit applies separately. For example, withdrawing €10,000 from an ATM does not reduce your POS limit.
4. What happens if I reach my monthly limit?
Any additional transactions will be declined until the next month if you hit your limit. You can track your spending and remaining limits in the Expatrio app under Card Transactions.
5. Are there limits on specific types of transactions?
Yes, you can enable or disable specific types of transactions in the app:
- ATM withdrawals (Allowed by default)
- Contactless payments (Allowed by default)
- Magnetic stripe transactions (Allowed by default)
- Online transactions (Allowed by default)
6. Is there a daily spending limit?
No, the card only has monthly limits, but merchants or ATMs may impose their daily limits.
7. Are there fees for exceeding limits?
No, but transactions exceeding your set limit will be declined.
