To initiate a transfer please follow the below steps:
- Go to the Banking tab on your Expatrio app and choose the Transfer Money option at the top
- Enter the name and the IBAN of the recipient, then click on Next
- Enter the amount you want to transfer and the reference text you want the recipient to see, then click on Next
- Enter your passcode to confirm the transfer
Please note that SEPA transfers usually take 1-3 business days to reach the recipient account, partially depending on the recipient bank's processing times as well.
Please note:
Your bank account has to be activated for you to be able to initiate a transfer.
You can transfer funds from your bank account to any SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) country bank account. Please see above the step by step guide.
If you wish to transfer to a non-SEPA country bank account we recommend to use the services of an international transfer provider. With those you can transfer the funds to a SEPA country bank account in EUR and they will forward these funds to the final recipient for you. This way you can transfer from your bank account to the international transfer provider, and they can forward the funds to the final recipient for you.
