How can I authenticate an online payment on the Expatrio App?

After you initiate an online payment from your Expatrio Bank Account* you will receive a 3D Secure authentification notification on your Expatrio App.

3D Secure is a security protocol for authenticating cardholders during online transactions.

You can open your app and verify yourself.

If you are not able to verify the transfer:

1. Please turn on push notification on your phone for Expatrio app. 
2. Then go back to the Expatrio App to verify the transfer.

After you click the "Approve" button your payment will be authorised!

If you have an Android device you can turn on the push notification with below settings:

1. Open your device's Settings app.
2. Tap Notifications  App settings.
3. Under "Most recent," find apps that recently sent you notifications.
   • To find more apps, tap All apps in the dropdown menu.
4. Tap the  Expatrio app.
5. Turn the app's notifications on or off.

If you have an IOS device, you can turn on the push notification with below settings:

1. In the Settings app, tap Notifications.
2. Tap the Expatrio app.
3. Turn on Allow Notifications then choose how and where you want to receive those.
