After you arrive in Germany and activate the Blocked Account via your Expatrio User Portal we will review your request within 1 business day.
Afterwards you will perform an identity verification and once it is complete, our team will check your documents and then you will need to pair your account to your device. To see our step by step guide on how to activate your accounts, please check this article.
After you successfully pair your device, the transfer from your Blocked Account to your Expatrio Bank account* will be instant!
Please note, if you want to connect another SEPA account to your blocked account to receive your monthly payouts, then transfers can take up to 3 business days.
Important: We highly recommend that you come to Germany having some money on hand to support yourself during the first weeks in the country. Please don't count solely on the Blocked Account funds as it may take some time for you to open your bank account which you will need to receive the monthly payouts from the blocked account.
