Is there a time frame to make the transfer?
Yes, It is advisable to make the transfer within 72 hours as mentioned in the transfer details document to avoid exchange rate fluctuations.
What happens if I can't make the transfer within 72h time frame?
If you cannot make the transfer within 72h (which is the standard duration for the indicated quote after payment initiation), then you can refresh this document if you are unable to make the time frame.
You can do this by navigating to your Blocked Account section under Products in your Expatrio Portal. From there you will see a "RENEW" button. You will need to click the "RENEW" button in order to refresh this document and find a new time frame of transfer on this document.
Can I make the transfer in multiple transactions?
Yes, it is possible to make the transfer in multiple transactions, however make sure to stick to the 72 hour time frame to avoid exchange rate fluctuations.
What is real time/instant payment?
Instant money transfer is a method similar to making an online purchase/payment available at the moment for customers in China and India.
What are the benefits of using instant payment?
Fast money transfer - your funds will be received instantly and you will be able to receive your Blocked Account Confirmation within a few hours.
How long does Expatrio Payment take to receive my funds?
Using Expatrio Payments can take 1-5 days for your funds to arrive, in some countries are able to transfer in real time (e.g. via Alipay in China).
