You don't have to connect your bank account to the health insurance before you arrive in Germany and activate the health insurance. You will only pay for the health insurance after you activate it. We will ask you to provide your bank account during the activation process.
After your insurance is activated, please contact the insurance providers to update your bank account IBAN details, as you have already submitted the activation of your health insurance.
