This article is about how to update your profession from the Expatrio user portal in case you have change your visa type or what your are doing in germany(For example: you are changing your staying purpose from "study applicant" to "master student"). 

You can change your profession (purpose of coming to Germany) from the Expatrio user portal yourself easily. Please follow the steps below:

1. Log in your Expatrio user portal

2. Click on Change or Add products section
   
    

   

3. Click on “Update Profession” button
   
    

   

4. Select the new profession you have and confirm.

Important note: If you have any health insurance product with us, please reach out to our customer support team to cancel it first. After the cancellation of your current health insurance, you will be able to apply for the new insurance product in the Add or Change product section from the User Portal.
